The Three-Semester Curriculum

Our academic year is divided into three distinct, seasonal semesters. You can join us for a single semester or commit to the full wheel of the year.

Autumn Semester

Ground, Altar, & Ancestor

Focus: Containment, Sacred Space, and the Roots of the Self.

Before we cast a spell or call a guide, we must establish our own sovereign physical container. The Autumn semester is dedicated to building your personal foundation, learning how our ancestors stayed grounded, and reclaiming your ancestral line.

• Somatic Grounding, Centering & Shielding: Moving past abstract visualization to build functional, nervous-system-backed energetic boundaries.

• Decolonizing the Craft: Understanding the history of folk magic, investigating our personal ancestral lineages, and learning how to practice magic without cultural appropriation.

• The Anatomy of an Altar: The history, purpose, and construction of physical altars. Learn how to create a living, working sacred space in your home that acts as an energetic battery.

• Ancestral Lineage Work: Developing a safe, boundaries-first relationship with your well and elevated ancestors.

Spring Semester

Elemental Medicine & Ritual Arts

Focus: The Wheel of the Year, the Compass, and Earth Magic.

In the Spring, we learn to interface with the forces of nature. We study the elements not as concepts, but as living, breathing intelligences that we can partner with to shift the energy of our bodies and our spaces.

• The Directions & Calling the Compass: The architecture of ritual. Learn the physical and energetic mechanics of calling the directions, opening a circle, and setting a boundary-walled space.

• Elemental Medicine: Working practically with the physical and energetic spirits of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water for healing, cleansing, and balance.

• The Solar Wheel of the Year: A historical and experiential study of the seasonal transitions and cross-quarter holidays (Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas, etc.) and how they are celebrated in folk traditions around the world.

• Moon Cycle Magic: Aligning your personal energy, creativity, and rest with the phases of the moon (New, Waxing, Full, Waning, Dark).

Summer Semester

Trance, Divination, & Spellcraft

Focus: Altered States, Casting, and the Unseen Worlds.

When the sun is at its peak, we stretch our awareness outward. In the Summer semester, we enter the realms of the unseen—learning how to safely alter our consciousness, communicate with guides, and direct our will through spellwork.

• Trance Journey Work: Safe, somatic, and drum-driven trance states to cross the hedge. Learn how to journey safely to receive wisdom without leaving your body behind or blowing out your nervous system.

• Developing Relationship with Guides: Meeting, vetting, and building reciprocal partnerships with personal guides, nature spirits, and plant allies.

• The Craft of Spellcasting: The mechanics of directing energy. Learn how to formulate, cast, and anchor spells (such as protection, boundary-sealing, abundance, and releasing).

• The Golden Rule of Spellwork: Mastering the precise protocols of cleansing and protecting yourself and your space before and immediately after any magical working.

• Divination as a Mirror: Using tools like tarot, runes, or ogham not to predict the future, but as a direct communication channel with the subconscious and the unseen.
